Hi - I was part of this group, and I don’t think either the title - “Finding out about west London’s nooks and crannies”- on the opening page, or the content on this page (based on notes taken during discussions) really reflect the fact that this session focussed mainly on identifying interesting sites across West London suitable for developing site specific work (mainly performances but with an emphasis on collaborative work between different art forms). Please could the title be changed to something like “Site specific work - Finding out about west London’s nooks and crannies” ? What do other people who were in the group think?

Also the ideas being suggested for Harrow Arts Centre were focussed on developing a site-specific piece of promenade theatre which was also a living history project, which could then be delivered to local school children. The piece could use sound, theatre & story telling - perhaps also projected visuals. There was also the idea of involving local children & young people in the development of the project.

So please could the text in brackets after Harrow Arts Centre be amended to say - in brackets - “(site-specific promenade theatre; storytelling; living history)” ? Thanks

I was at the same day but didn’t manage to get to this group. However, as a site specific practitioner (both through movement and visual art) I would be interested in hearing more about this idea as it develops. I can be reached via my website at http://www.juliebrixey-williams.co.uk. Many thanks.
