Calling all artists and arts groups based in Hillingdon – free venues for you to take part in Hillingdon Arts Week 2009
Hillingdon Arts Association is now seeking artists and arts groups based in Hillingdon, who would like to put on an event during Hillingdon Arts Week 2009 (31st May – 6 June).
The following venues are available to groups to use for free on Thursday 4th, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th June:
- Compass Theatre, Ickenham
- Winston Churchill Hall, Ruislip
- Yiewsley & West Drayton Community Centre, West Drayton
- Uxbridge College (Hayes Campus) - this space would be ideal for bands (door split)
Hillingdon Arts Association will cover all the costs of the venue, and will also provide some funding for publicity, in addition to the promotions for Hillingdon Arts Week.
Artists and arts groups will need to cover their own costs, but can keep revenue from ticket sales
If you would like to make use of one or more of these venues, please contact Peter Slavid on artsweek@blueyonder.co.uk with an indication of what you would plan. Hillingdon Arts Week’s priority is to support arts performances that will attract an audience from the general public, rather than from within a society - but we will consider all proposals.
